Ocean City: My Summer Inspiration

Now that summer is officially over, I feel like it is a good time to reflect on it. I have spent a portion of every summer in Ocean City, Maryland for as long as I can remember. I love the salty air and the 10 degree temperature drop as you drive across the Route 90 Bridge. As an abstract painter, I seek inspiration in nature. Beyond the allure of the beach itself, it is the rhythm of daily life in this coastal town that truly captivates me.

A Runner's Perspective

Ocean City's flat terrain makes it perfect for running. During my long runs through the little side streets, I would stop and photograph anything that caught my eye from the mailboxes and flowers to the cute egg-shaped swings.

The town's unique blend of nostalgia and modernity offered endless visual intrigue as I winded my way around the town.

Translating Impressions into Art

I am excited to start painting my fall collection, inspired by my trip to the beach. I took endless photos of the ocean that I am looking forward to translating to canvas.
